Courage

Courage is not always an obvious act of heroism…
Sometimes courage is smiling when your heart is breaking. When you feel like your world is falling down around you, and you still keep your head up, and moving forward.
Sometimes courage is simply getting up out of bed, and taking a shower, and going out and talking to one person that day, even if it’s only to order a cup of coffee.
Courage can be saying no to the thing that you know will help you get through the fear and sadness in the moment, but harm you in the long-term.
Courage is doing the right thing, even when your baser needs scream out for you to do the wrong thing.
Sometimes courage is telling a friend or a loved one that you are fine, when you are not, because they have bigger problems than you have.
Courage is keeping one foot in front of the other, even when you can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Every day, people are being very brave, but we just don’t see it. Tell someone today that you see how brave they are, and that you admire them for it. It is hard being human sometimes - we all need our hard work acknowledged occasionally. (not my words, author unknown)

Thank you Nick for sharing these words of wisdom. We all know them already but it's always necessary to repeat them from time to time cause it is in our human nature to forget.

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow.”~~Mary Anne Radmacher

Thanks for sharing and reminded that sometimes courage comes in many different forms, in many different ways.
